COSA VISITARE Santuario: il monumento per eccellenza di Tignale è il Santuario di Montecastello, che sorge poco sotto la cime del Monte Cas, su uno spuntone di roccia calcarea, a picco sul lago. Sorto sui ruderi di un antico tempio, poi trasformato in castello, custodisce la "Casa santa", un tempietto che risale all' 802. Cenni storici: i piccoli borghi racchiudono interessanti edifici medievali, tra cui proprio il nostro albergo con antichi portali, a testimonianza della particolare architettura di quel periodo. Suggestivi i vicoli, collegati tra loro dalle tipiche "andrùne", camminamenti coperti racchiusi tra le case. Porto di Tignale: il lembo di terra tignalese bagnato dal Garda è costituito dal porto e dal breve ripiano denominato "Prato della Fame". In prossimità del porto sorge la settecentesca limonaia del Pra de la Fam, restaurata nel 1985 e gestita dalla Comunita Montana secondo i canoni tradizionali dell'agrumicoltura altogardesana; altre piccole limonaie private si trovano a Piovere e Oldesio. Centro visitatori Prabione e del Parco Alto Garda Bresciano: il Centro Visitatori è rappresentato da un percorso che si snoda attraverso immagini e suoni, evocazione di personaggi, ricostruzione di ambienti, collezioni naturalistiche, raccolte di vecchi attrezzi di lavoro, brevi filmati e postazioni interattive. Visitare il Parco significa non soltanto immergersi nella varietà dell’ambiente Gardesano, ma accostarsi anche alle attività tradizionali, dalla pesca alla coltivazione dei limoni e degli ulivi, dall’agricoltura di montagna alle produzioni artigianali, che hanno preceduto il turismo e lo possono oggi arricchire di occasioni e di esperienze. Il centro visitatori del Parco Alto Garda Bresciano racconta questo territorio, la storia, la sua gente, per conoscerli meglio, per avere tutto ciò che il Garda può dare ... « torna a Resort SEHENSWERTES Wallfahrtsort: Das Monument par excellence von Tignale ist der Wallfahrtsort Montecastello, der sich knapp unter dem Gipfel des Monte Cas auf einem steil zum See hin abfallenden Felsvorsprung aus Kalkstein erhebt. Auf den Ruinen eines antiken Tempels erbaut und anschließend zur Burg umfunktioniert, wacht er über das "Heilige Haus", einen kleinen Tempel aus dem Jahre 802. Historischer Hintergrund: In den kleinen Ortschaften finden sich interessante Bauten aus dem Mittelalter, zu denen auch unser Hotel mit seinen antiken Portalen als Zeuge der besonderen Architektur aus der damaligen Zeit gehört. Suggestive Gassen verbinden die typischen "andrùne" miteinander, eine Art überdachter Wege zwischen den Häusern. Der Hafen von Tignale: Ein kleiner Landstrich von Tignale, der den Hafen und eine kurze Ebene mit dem Namen "Prato della Fame" (Hungerwiese) umfasst, reicht bis an das Wasser des Gardasees. In der Nähe des Hafens liegt die Orangerie "Pra de la fam" aus dem achtzehnten Jahrhundert, die 1985 restauriert und nun entsprechend den traditionellen Anbauregeln für Zitrusgewächse vom Landschaftsverband verwaltet wird. Weitere, kleinere private Gewächshäuser für den Zitronenanbau befinden sich in Piovere und Oldesio. Besucherzentrum Prabione im Naturschutzgebiet Parco Alto Garda Bresciano: Das Besucherzentrum ist als eine Art Weg angelegt, der durch Bilder und Klänge führt, berühmte Persönlichkeiten heraufbeschwört und frühere Umgebungen rekonstruiert, naturwissenschaftliche Sammlungen und alte Arbeitswerkzeuge zeigt sowie Kurzfilme und interaktive Stationen bietet. Eine Besichtigung des Naturschutzgebietes bedeutet nicht nur, in die unterschiedlichen Landschaften des Gebietes um den Gardasee einzutauchen, sondern auch, sich den traditionellen Tätigkeiten – von der Fischerei bis zum Anbau von Zitronen und Oliven, von der Landwirtschaft im Gebirge bis zu handwerklichen Tätigkeiten – zu nähern, die dem Tourismus vorangingen und diesen heute um Gelegenheiten und Erfahrungen bereichern können. Das Besucherzentrum im Naturschutzgebiet Parco Alto Garda Bresciano erzählt von diesem Gebiet, von seiner Geschichte und seinen Menschen. Near the harbour there is a piece of land where lemons grow since 1700 (Lemons of Pra de la Fam), it was renovated in 1985 and it is now run by the Mountain Community following the criteria of the Alto Garda lemon growing cultivation.
